A beauty launch often needs several types of image at once: a clear packshot, packaging detail, a texture view and a campaign treatment. The schedule depends on having the right samples and approvals available, not simply finding a free shoot day.
This guide describes the planning stages rather than promising a fixed number of days. Confirm timing against the actual products and finishing required.
Before booking: settle the product details
Check that bottles, caps, labels and outer cartons match the sale product. Flag prototypes or temporary artwork. Supply the approved product names and any wording required for graphics.
Decide which items can be opened or used for texture shots and provide suitable extra samples. A pristine packshot sample and a product used for swatches may serve different purposes during the shoot.
Before dispatch: agree the image roles
List the products and variants, then identify the views required for each. Keep clean product coverage separate from creative compositions and texture details. Ask the designer for required crops before the studio starts.
Explain references in concrete terms: glossy reflections, visible product texture, restrained props or a particular colour relationship. Avoid a large mood board that contains several incompatible directions.

At the shoot: check what matters early
Where an early review is agreed, use it to confirm product orientation, label visibility and composition. Leave final colour and detailed clean-up for the appropriate finishing stage.
Make sure the reviewer is available during the planned window. A launch schedule can lose time while waiting for several people to agree on one image.
During finishing: keep feedback together
Review packaging wording, product colour, edges, texture and intended crops. Distinguish a correction from a new creative request. Additional scenes or changed packaging may affect the agreed scope.
Check the exports in the actual website or campaign layout. A beautiful close crop may not leave enough space for a mobile heading.

Before launch: verify the live assets
Confirm that the right variant images are attached to the right products. Retain the approved masters and organise campaign versions separately. Confirm return arrangements for unused samples where required.
