How the image is made
Photograph the product. Build the scene around it.
- Choose the setting first
- The room or scene determines the viewpoint and direction of light. Choosing it early helps us photograph the product at a suitable angle.
- Keep the product itself clear
- We use the product photograph to retain its visible shape, label and materials. We need suitable source images to do this well.
- Bring the pieces together
- We adjust placement, scale, light and shadows so the product sits convincingly in the scene. The finished image is assembled digitally.

Before you book

Is this a photograph taken in a real room?
The finished image combines a product photograph with a separate setting. We explain the method and agree the scene before starting, rather than presenting it as a location shoot.
Can you use photographs I already have?
We can assess them. The angle, resolution, lighting and visible detail need to suit the scene. If they do not, we may recommend photographing the product again.
Can you reuse a scene for new products?
Often, provided the new products suit the viewpoint, lighting and permissions for that scene. Send dimensions and original photos so we can check before quoting.
When is a real lifestyle shoot a better choice?
A real shoot may be better when someone needs to handle the product, demonstrate movement or interact closely with it. We can discuss the practical options around your brief.
How is the price worked out?
We quote for the images and work agreed for your project. Your itemised estimate sets out the photography, editing and any additional production requirements, with VAT shown separately. There is no minimum order.
Can you work to my deadline?
Tell us the date when you enquire, along with when the products or source images will be available. We confirm the delivery date before booking and will tell you if the brief needs adjusting to fit the time available.
