You can begin with a product link, a few phone photographs or a rough shot list. We use that information to understand the product and the images you need, then agree the scope, price and timing before the work begins.
The exact sequence depends on the project. A straightforward packshot job and a styled campaign do not need identical production plans. Ask which approval stages apply to your shoot.
First, make the brief clear
We need to know what is being photographed, which variants are included and where the images will be used. References can help explain the intended look, but they are most useful with a note about what you like in them.
We also discuss practical requirements such as props, preparation, models, retouching and delivery formats. This is the point to identify any deadline the launch depends on.
Confirm the estimate and send the products
Once the plan is agreed, follow the confirmed booking and payment arrangements. Send representative samples, label variants and include the accessories needed for the images. Tell us about delicate finishes or unusual handling needs.
Keep a packing list and confirm whether the products need returning. If the return address differs from the sender’s address, make that clear before dispatch.

Photography and positioning
The team prepares the products, sets the lighting and captures the agreed views. Different materials need different treatment: glass, polished metal and fabric each present their own practical problems.
Where an early positioning review is agreed, use it to check angle, arrangement and shot coverage. Unfinished captures will not yet show the final clean-up, background treatment or colour work.
Retouching and review
Finishing follows the agreed scope. Standard clean-up and more involved compositing are different levels of work, so additional requests may need a revised estimate.
Collect feedback in one place. Identify the image and describe the change needed. Distinguish an incorrect product detail from a new creative preference so the next step is clear.
Delivery and reuse
Review the finished files in the layouts where they will appear. Confirm that crops, file types and product names match the brief. Keep the approved originals available for future use instead of relying on compressed copies downloaded from a website.
Return arrangements are confirmed separately, including any courier cost. For a concise checklist of what to send us first, see how to write a photography brief.
