A first launch creates plenty of decisions before photography begins. The most useful image plan is the one that supports the product you are ready to sell and the channels you are actually using.
You do not need to commission a complete future campaign library at once. Start with accurate product coverage and a small number of well-defined placements.
Make the sample ready
Check that the product, packaging and supplied accessories match what customers will receive. If a prototype is the only available sample, tell the studio which details are temporary and what can realistically be corrected.
Keep final labels and verified product information together. Late changes to packaging can affect photography, graphics and page copy at the same time.
List the launch placements
Write down the images required for the product page, marketplace listing, email and any planned advertising. Ask the designer for the actual crops and dimensions. Separate required outputs from ideas that might be useful later.
A good core set usually explains what the product is, what matters about it and how large or practical it is. The precise views depend on the item.

Choose a manageable creative direction
Select a few references and describe what you like about the light, colour and composition. Keep styling realistic for the product and the available budget. A simple, well-executed direction is easier to extend as the business grows.
If you are exploring AI imagery, begin with clear source photographs and review the outputs carefully. Do not let an appealing scene change the product that customers expect to receive.
Schedule approval as well as production
Work backwards from the date the files must be live. Allow for sample delivery, photography or image creation, editing, feedback and upload checks. Choose the person who will make final decisions.
Keep feedback together and test the exports in the real layouts. A file that looks good on its own may need a different crop for the mobile page.
Improve from actual use
After launch, collect questions and note where the imagery leaves something unclear. Add the missing information before commissioning more decorative variations.
PMP has no minimum spend, so a first project can start with one product. Share your launch brief when you are ready to discuss the initial set.
